Anyone want to share the ride for a while?

Rod Germaine
Germaine enters the State of Maine

The Codger is on the last leg of his mad, continental journey. For his current whereabouts, check his daily blog below.

If you wish to communicate with him, email rodgermaine@gmail.com or call him at 604 813 1557.

There is still time to make a donation to the Just Aid Foundation (www.justaid.ca) in support of his ride.

To donate online, click here.

To donate by cheque, make it payable to "Just Aid Foundation" and send it to Just Aid Foundation, 300-1275 West 6th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6H 1A6.

And you can still make a conditional donation in the form of a pledge. Some have pledged to pay between 1 cent and up to 15 cents per kilometer he cycles. Some of these pledges are conditional on him getting to Halifax, some are not. You are free to design any pledge you wish. Send the particulars by email to justride2011@gmail.com.

Rod is very grateful to his good friend Soe Naing for the ride to Toronto. He may not have made it without Soe Naing’s company and assistance.

Sincere thanks for all donations, pledges and to everyone who has offered support of any kind.

Day 5

It has been 3 days since my last update on the ride. We are currently staying at Keremeos and watching the Canuks game.

I am happy with 68 kms ride today from Princeton to Keremeos after nursing my right knee for a couple of days.

This blog will be updated regularly but please see justride2011.com for more detail about our day to day ride.
